 The restaurant Santa Rita is now under new Azorean management.

 Besides the well known Portuguese dishes, the restaurant is also offering meals typical of the Azores and Madeira archipelagos.  The meals are carefully prepared and generously served. The quality ingredients are hand picked and the menu is moderately priced.  Fatima pilgrims will eat here only healthy, “home made" food: the best of Portuguese gastronomy. 

 The Azores is an archipelago composed by nine islands (Sao Miguel, Santa Maria, Terceira, Pico, Faial, Sao Jorge, Graciosa, Flores, and Corvo), and Madeira by two (Madeira, and Porto Santo).   Each developed its own specialties and traditions.  Their cuisines involve all of our senses.

 We suggest the Alcatra (Sirloin), the Portuguese Linguica (Sausage), the Caldo de Peixe (Fish Soup), Swordfish fillet, the kebob with Madeira bread (?), the Roasted Pork and Lamb, the delicious Bacalhau (Cod Fish) dishes, and others. On Saturdays we have the Madeirense kebob, and on Sundays, we have our typical dish: the famous and flavorful Azorian dish called the Soup of the Holy Spirit (Sopa do Espirito Santo), which is served with fork and knife.

Actuellement, avec une gérence des Açores, le restaurant Santa Rita a des repas bien confeacionnés e généreuscment servis, comme vous pouvez le verifier quand vous nous visiterez.

Avec une qualité à bas prix, le pélegrin de Fatima mange ici une cuisine-maison, ce qu’il y a de mieux dans notre gastronomie.

Nous suggérons le steak de veau de Terceira et le Boudin de Pico, la Brochette avec le gâteau de Caco de Madère, le Porc et le Chevreau cuits au four, la bonne morue, entre autres.

Le samedi, nous avons la Brochette de Màdere et le dimanche, nous faisons le typique, fameux et savoureux plat Açoréen, les Soupes du Saint-Esprit, qui se mange avec une fourchette et un couteau.
